Application and prospect of laser engraving technology
From the beginning of the 21st century, with the development of laser technology applications and the wide application of computer technology, two irrelevant technical fields have intersected and merged into "laser engraving technology". Laser has become a tool for engraving, and the engraving objects are not limited to the above-mentioned types, and there are more types of engravings such as glass, steel, and plastic.
Laser engraving is based on numerical control technology, and laser is the processing medium. The physical denaturation of the instant melting and gasification of the processed material under laser irradiation achieves the purpose of processing.
Laser processing features: no contact with the surface of the material, not affected by mechanical movement, the surface will not be deformed, generally no need to fix. Not affected by the elasticity and flexibility of the material, it is convenient to process soft materials. High processing precision, fast speed, wide range of applications.
With laser engraving and cutting, the process is as easy as printing on paper with a computer and printer. Users can use a variety of graphics processing software such as CorelDraw to design under the PC operating system environment. Scanned graphics, vectorized graphics and various CAD files can be easily "printed" to the engraving machine. The difference is that printing applies toner to paper, while laser engraving fires a laser onto almost any material such as wood, acrylic, plastic sheet, metal sheet, stone, etc.
Laser engraving machine: As the name suggests, it is an advanced equipment that uses laser to engrave the materials that need to be engraved. The laser engraving system is mainly composed of 3 parts: high-energy laser, laser transmission system, and optical system. By adjusting the focal length, the energy per unit area can be adjusted.
