1. The temperature in winter is low, and the pipes of the chiller may freeze, causing damage to the core components of the fiber laser cutting machine.

So do the following protective work.Keep the temperature of the chiller and equipment above 0 °C as much as possible to prevent freezing.

If the temperature does not reach above zero degrees Celsius, please keep the cooling equipment and freezer on.

If the water in the pipe keeps flowing, it won’t freeze. Of course, in this case, if the chiller is shut down for a long time due to a failure or power outage, there is a risk of icing.

If the above methods fail, you can add antifreeze to the chiller. There is no need to add too much refrigerant, just add 25%. After adding antifreeze, it can withstand -20℃ without freezing.

2. In some areas, it is humid and rainy in winter. If the air is too humid, it will cause condensation of the laser components inside the fiber laser cutting machine.

Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the humidity around the laser.

After turning on the main power of the laser, turn on the additional control cabinet air conditioning function before the laser emits light, and operate for 30 minutes to prevent the cabinet components from malfunctioning due to moisture.

3. If the fiber laser cutting machine is not suitable for a long time in winter, the water in the water tank will easily deteriorate due to long-term non-replacement, or freeze due to low temperature, which will damage the metal laser cutting machine.

In order to ensure the normal operation of the laser sheet metal cutting machine, when not in use, all the water in the water tank should be drained, and then one end of the small water pipe should be removed and all the water should be blown out. The next time you start the machine, check whether the machine is freezing and make sure that the room temperature is above 0°C.
